The upcoming Commentator Packs for versions FINAL VERSION include new Male + Female + Legend Player Callnames from FIFA21.
These will also be the final versions for now, unless someone can give me a tip on where I can get FIFA 22.
New versions 1.1 of the commentator packs are being released because some players' names are experiencing playback issues, with only a crackling sound being heard or the commentator not pronouncing the name completely.
I think this happens when more than 10 audio files are assigned to a player.
Therefore, I've now set a limit of 8.
NOTE:
Occasionally, the commentators may have nothing to say for a while. This has happened very rarely for me. If this occurs, you can immediately end the commentators' silence by pressing pause once and then immediately unpause. That is, press the spacebar twice in quick succession.
Information about the commentator files:
Since FIFA Manager 13 and 14 can originally only be installed in the following languages:
ENGLISH
FRENCH
SPANISH
ITALIAN
GERMAN
all other commentator files must be renamed to the respective installed language.
Here's an example:
I want to play with the PORTUGUESE commentator file.
I'm assuming that FIFA Manager was subsequently installed with the Spanish language option selected.
Therefore, the three files located in the data\fi-audio\ folder need to be renamed:
dat_por.big (por stands for Portugal)
hdr_por.big
pbp_por.evt
to
dat_spa.big
hdr_spa.big
pbp_spa.evt
and then the entire data folder needs to be copied to the FIFA Manager's main directory
overwriting all existing files.
Anyone wanting to use the Brazilian or Mexican commentator files will most likely have FIFA Manager installed in Spanish and will therefore need to rename the three commentator files.
